Mizuno Great Running Shoe But Runs Small

by Anna
(NYC)

I tried out the Mizuno Women's Wave Rider Running Shoes
(this is a neutral shoe for someone who does not need any kind of support) after a friend of mine recommended them who does a LOT of running and never seems to get any injuries.

I figured her shoes must have something to do with it, so I'd try the same shoes that she wears.

I usually wear Asics running shoes and I found a pair of Mizuno's online that were just as comfortable as my Asics and about $40 cheaper than what I normally pay.

I love running in my Mizuno's but the only downside is I wish I had gotten half a size bigger. They feel much tighter on my feet even though they are the same size as my Asics.

Otherwise, I realy like how they feel and the way they look. I got them in a cool flashy orange/red/magenta that looks like a race car stripe. I will definately try these again, just in a bigger size next time.

Sounds right to me!

Mizuno's run 1/2 size small- you are completely correct! I typically by a 7.5 in running shoes (1 size bigger than my correct size) and in Mizuno's I buy an 8.

They are good running shoes though, I agree.
