1) Winter Running Tips & Gear

Do you plan on running throughout the winter? If you need a little extra inspiration, you may consider joining my friend Heather's 150 mile challenge on Daily Mile. It's already helped me log in a few more miles than I would normally have run at this time of year.

This year I am determined to run throughout the winter, and look good doing it. So to help out, I've put together some tips on running in the winter and what kind of gear to run in, from some of my running mom friends who are more experienced in winter running.

2) Latest Tip for Running Faster

And to warm up faster, and have something to focus on other than the cold, here is a tip from my friend Anne on increasing your running speed.

You might also enjoy checking out these additional running tips I've put together.

3) A Running Woman Should Have...

After having a bad day this week and calling a friend who helped me feel better, I realized how important it is to have someone you can call on such days, and how lucky I am to have this friend.

It inspired me to put together this list of things that I believe a running mom should have. Please check it out and add your own contributions...

4) Inspiring Mom of the Month and First Time Marathoner, Bethany, Shares Her Marathon Training Secrets

And now...what you all look forward to every month, my interview with the inspiring running mom of the month.

Bethany and I are part of the same running mom group on cafe mom. She is a mom, first time marathoner this year, student and a talented writer.

I'm always humored and inspired by her posts, whether she is telling us of her running adventures or helping out another running mom.

This year, I was a part of the virtual experience as she trained for her first half and then her first full marathon, as she stuck with it and encouraged us all through the ups and downs of committing to and training for a marathon.

Check out her marathon training secrets.
