Running Through First Trimester

I ran and played ultimate Frisbee until I was 4 months pregnant. Ultimate Frisbee is a mix of basketball, soccer, and football but with a Frisbee. It's a non-contact, fast-paced game with quick short bursts of speed.
I quit playing because I was worried about getting body-checked (people can get hurt when it becomes too aggressive)! At the same time I was running about 3 times a week, usually about 10k per run.
Unfortunately I let myself get talked into quitting running (I'll never make that mistake again!) after 4 months - people would look shocked when I told them I was still running, and tell me I was going to hurt myself or the baby!!
Through my entire pregnancy I did continue with a fitness class specifically for pregnant women.
I really believe being fit helped me during my pregnancy. I had a really easy pregnancy - no morning sickness, very little tiredness. The only time I got really uncomfortable was during the last month when I was so big!
My labor lasted 9 hours, but my baby was born after only 15 minutes of pushing! I hope my next pregnancy is just as easy.
