I did not find balance, it found me. I saw my life becoming all-consumed with events that were only of value to me. Then, as if God was telling me that I am not in control (duh!), a life changing event happened to me, The big "C".

Now that I am healthy I realize that there are others that need me too. Of course my exercise is one of my priorities.

For me, using a calendar (I use the one on my phone), I fill in all of the important events like kids activities, dinners, etc, and then schedule the workouts in from there.

I may have to wake up at 5 am or give up my lunch hour at work, but I get it in.

So for almost the past year I have my life planned out on that calendar. It seems to be working for us.

Oh yeah, it is also important to schedule a day with NOTHING... let the family veg out. We find it to be a great way to re-charge us all.
