Looking for some fitness motivation? How about joining a challenge and running "virtually" to Iraq and back to bring our troops home.
You don't even have to be a runner. Any workout counts. And you're not going at it alone. Join a team or start your own team.
History and Purpose of this Challenge
This idea started when one woman decided she was going to take the time that her husband is deployed in Iraq to do something positive.

How does this challenge work?
In honor of the women who came up with this idea, the total mileage necessary to contribute is 12,944 and should be completed by December 31, 2009. All your mileage counts and any additional workouts counts as 10 minutes = 1 mile. But don’t worry, you are not alone. You can join a team or form your own team of anywhere from 4-20 people. Then once a week, add your team’s mileage to your team page. You can also join in on the
