Finding Balance in Life
How does a running mom go about finding balance in life?
After a week of kicking myself for not getting in enough running, I've decided maybe it's time to rethink my priorities.
Currently, I'm training for my first 30 mile ultra.
Originally, this was just meant to be something fun (run 30 miles for my 30th birthday), to celebrate 30 years of accomplishments with my friends, feel good and push myself to do a something more than I've ever done before.
But it's turned into one big headache.
This week in my blog I shared what was a normal week for me. However I can't stop beating myself up that I didn't do more, especially training-wise, even though I know that what I did accomplish took a lot of hard work and therefore should be considered a success.
This time I don't pretend to have an incling of the answer. Therefore, I'm turning the floor over to those of you who do.
